KodingTech Select: medicine and technology. In cold conditions.

If you also like coffee without sugar along with a straightforward joke (you can read: politically incorrect) and technology as fresh as hot bread, then it's clear that you've come to the right page. This is the first article (our era) in the series KodingTech Select. Technology news selected for you. Or a kind of technology chronicle.

We don't know how to start the week other than in a tech style (we like to think it's authentic). No matter how much the press has been articulate about the subject of viruses (non-technological), cybersecurity still escapes our thoughts. (Maybe because this week we have a dedicated event: Security Awareness for the masses: SMB?). Yes, we will also discuss CoronaVirus, but also from a technology perspective. Especially since we heard some rumors about Bill Gates. Unrelated to his position at Microsoft.

In other words, we like to talk about technology more than any other topic (yes, even more than politics and football, you guessed it! 🙂 ). So, we take as a source of inspiration for the “small talk” on Mondays, Tuesdays, .... all technology sites. Did you think that only on Mondays do we have fun with a cigarette, on the balcony? Obviously not. We do it every day. However, we decided that on Mondays we would use the concept of „sharing is caring”. And we share with you the news that caught our attention. With a cigarette or not. Let's see:

  • arstechnica.com asks Of What continue FIELD medical saddle star BOTH stupid to Chapter cybersecurity? A topic that I have seen addressed on several sites and which is, indeed, very attractive for this debate. The article on arstechnica.com instantly captivates you with an interesting premise-scenario: “Imagine a doctor who, during the triage process, has to prioritize between two patients: one who, following the results of the electrocardiogram, is shown to need a cardiac catheterization intervention, another who has suffered a stroke and needs a tomography. All systems are inactive due to a ransomware attack, so the doctor cannot access the patients' health records or use any of the technologies on which modern medicine is based. What should he do?” Because we don't like spoilers either, we'll let you discover how he deals with the subject further.

  • You somehow forgot about coronavirus for a second and are looking forward to it news about MWC, THE may great event of furniture from ALL world? Then the news for you is not exactly good. Although the GSMA announced that everything is under control and that it has a well-established strategy to avoid “handshakes” [aka virus transmission] during the event, a series of sound brands in the mobile market have announced, one by one, their exit from the event scene. If you are curious to know who we are talking about, on engadget.com you can find exactly the information you were missing.

Do you have any topics with and about technology? Leave us some clues and opinions in the comments that will lead us closer to new sources of inspiration.

Oh, and let's not forget: a tech tip. We got it today too, on Microsoft Teams (an app in the Microsoft Teams suite). Microsoft Office 365) On an internal channel. Stop breaking the bubble bags. The air is still coming from China:) Let's not forget: in which country do you think the face masks are made?
