KodingTech. 2020 and the democratization of technology.

2020 heralds even more technology (IT) harmoniously and at the right time combined with human creativity (for businesses of all sizes). We are already ready to help our clients adapt to market changes on the fly through an improved approach. Explicitly developed around specific needs and expectations. With new people, but keeping our philosophy.

And we don't do it anyway, but under a new umbrella: CodingTech.com. And not by chance, but at a key moment:

In the following, we briefly - but comprehensively - tell you how the Koding story began and what our evolution has been over time, why we chose to make this change and what are the goals we have set for ourselves (starting from our customers' feedback).. Without forgetting our vision and passion.

Koding: from "The Big Boys' IT MSP startup" to the customer-centric approach (quoting from the first blog post)

We started in the IT market as a startup testing its validity through classic services – equipment supply, support and maintenance. What differentiated us, from the first delivery, was the relationship with the client. Regardless of the type of relationship. In the first year we had a more indirect business model. A lot of services offered to partners (our competitors). Why? Because we want a better world. Competition doesn't hurt anyone. On the contrary.
We were not satisfied with providing punctual services and/or products just for the sake of increasing the profitability of the business. We wanted more. We wanted a partnership relationship with each of our clients – a way to ensure that they can count on our support beyond the limitations of a contract or an agreed project.
Since the beginning of 2016, we have migrated to a direct business model. We have addressed our end customers (companies) directly. Why? We want to contribute to a better world through the power of example.

The feedback we received from customers confirmed that this is the right approach, and the passion for doing things better and differently defined the direction we want to go: customer-centric.

We used technology (IT) as a basic resource, we combined it with our ability to analyze. Or look in detail at the needs. And, to the extent possible:), we also added creativity to build personalized offers. We permanently focused on responding to real needs. And the permanent constraint was to choose the right approaches. For you. And to do things better. With the same desire.

By leaving the sales intention secondary and bringing the needs of our customers to the forefront, we have gained trust and, with it, a rich and stable portfolio. We cannot say that all manufacturers love us for this approach. But, … it’s not that serious. We better build for the future.

The recommendations opened new doors for us to new partnerships, helping us to constantly develop and increase the number of customers. On the other hand, the experience we gained by delivering IT equipment and solutions guaranteed our success as reliable partners for suppliers. Including from such a partnership position, we focused on customer expectations and, in particular, on simplifying access to benefits. We understood that, as with any new product/service, customers may encounter bottlenecks or difficulties in implementation or use – which reduces the chances that they will enjoy the benefits of the purchase.

Koding becomes KodingTech. From .ro to .com. Why did we make this change?

When we are asked “Why did we choose to make this change?” we are tempted to automatically answer “Because we want to take our approach even further.” But we know that such an answer would not be enough. 🙂 So here are 5 of the reasons that convinced us that it is a good time and that we can offer more through this rebranding:

  • A suggestive name for what we do TODAY for TOMORROW. Technology is a tool through which we improve the quality of life. We have stubbornly become very good at using it, so that your business can be developed and managed more simply, and you, the one who runs it, can have more free time at the end of the day. We combine human creativity with IT resources to generate value in your company and help you grow real, with quantifiable results.
  • A domain that fully reflects the portfolio and objectives Our client portfolio is constantly growing – and not only on the Romanian market. The migration to .com appeared, therefore, as a natural necessity, generated both by the results we have had so far and by the objectives targeting the markets we will reach in the next 3 years.
  • We are preparing the launch of new products (made by KodingTech). We are already testing a series of specific KodingTech products that are to be launched in 2020. These are the result of feedback received from customers and come to respond to specific requirements that have a certain recurrence. Automation of processes, connectivity and resource integration are just some of the advantages that the new products will come with. We would like to tell you more but… we would spoil the charm of discovering them, one by one, at the right time.
  • New partnerships with strategic suppliers. 2020 brings, in addition to a series of new products in the KodingTech offer, also partnerships with strategic suppliers that will allow us to offer in an even more flexible manner.   • We make the democratization of technology (IT) the main premise of digitalization. The need for digitalization is obvious for any type of company – regardless of its size or industry. Easy access to technology simplifies the digitalization process, as long as each step is done correctly – from the pre-acquisition phase to implementation and use. This is practically our role. Through KodingTech we want to ensure that a company acquires and implements customized solutions that are accessible to as many people as possible. In addition, we want them to understand, from the beginning, how they can be used correctly, completely and in favor of the company.

KodingTech is a young IT company, based primarily on people. We created the hashtag #MadeInCotroceni because it all started in the attic on Ernest Juvara Street (more news about Mansarda soon), and that's where we developed and grew (in experience, in numbers and number of people in the team). 

Understanding the technological future is our passion and what brought us together. We love challenges and do not believe in the impossible. Instead, we believe that human intelligence and technology (IT) can, together, be a superpower capable of solving even the most difficult problems.
