This article is not intended to be a eulogy for freshly ironed shirts and fancy ties, but rather an attempt to open our eyes to the idea that certain tools have specific tasks as their objective.
Just as you wouldn't take a Ferrari off-road or a G-Class on the track, you'll see that some gadgets are created for specific types of customers.
To understand how computer technology has evolved over the past 50 years, let's look back at the first computers used by humans. For example, the Apollo 11 Guidance Computer, and I use this example for a reason—we just celebrated the 50th anniversary of man's first steps on the moon—had 11 million times less memory than a typical iPhone. To put that into perspective, the phone you own has the processing power to run 120 million missions to the moon at the same time, which is impressive considering how much we've gained from silicon chips.

OK, so how do we use the gadgets we have? First of all, we use them to connect to this magical thing that is the internet. In January 2019, 4.4 billion people were active on the internet, 3.5 billion of them used social media… so many of us, a lot of us, use Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. In 2018, 52.2% of internet traffic was generated by mobile phones. Does this mean that PCs are dying? No way, if most of the time we use our phones for content consumption, computers are used every day for work. With their help we produce content in a million forms for our clients, either inside or outside an organization.
Back to the topic, is any computer suitable for content creation? In principle, yes, but not every computer can be used 8 hours a day, 250 days a year for this. Computer brands invest millions every year to develop new tools to improve the experience of using computers, from better keyboards to different ways of authentication, from premium alloys for the case and chassis to the latest cooling technologies. This may sound fancy, but it's actually simple and I'll explain why:
