Taking advantage of the new versions of the component services in the Office 365 platform, Microsoft has managed to integrate the experience of synchronizing information from One Drive for Business and SharePoint Online libraries into a single application called OneDrive Sync Client (incidentally, a native application in Windows 10). Among the main benefits:
– a single local application for all documents on the Microsoft cloud productivity platform;
– possibility of selecting folders also for SharePoint libraries, not just for OneDrive libraries;
– similar experience on both PC and Mac.

The procedure is not very complicated and comes in two steps:
-activating the functionality in the SharePoint administration console;
-updating the local application.
