Microsoft is in a phase where it is looking to acquire community-based companies (TikTok, Pinterest) to more effectively promote its products and services. Unlike most platforms, where ads are the main form of monetization, Discord has implemented a subscription model<\/a>, where for 10$ per month it offers users a series of benefits, this being one of the reasons why the platform is so popular.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been discussions lately about hypothetical situations in which two people living in the same home, who enter job-related meetings at the same time, could pose a security risk. Moreover, there have been occasional situations in which selfies taken in the 'home office' exposed sensitive data. I (@Ioan) won't be scared by the fact that technology will lead us, but I sit and imagine that in 10 years, on my way to work, on the subway, I'll see rows of people with HoloLens and Facebook bracelets waving their hands between stations.
