Jakub distributed the software on various forums for eight years until he was caught. In addition to the prison sentence, the Czech also received a fine of over 223,000 USD, which he was unable to pay. So the Business Software Alliance decided to give him a chance: the pirate must publish a movie on the Internet in which he tells his story, and if the movie reaches 200,000 views, the fine decreases drastically.
