You know, information = power, it&#039;s good to have the tools to manipulate information at hand... digital, of course.<br \/>\n<strong>Power Query<\/strong>: a tool that allows users to extract data from various sources, manipulate it in a form that suits them, and load it into Excel. It is an Extract, Transform, Load tool that works like an Excel add-in.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-text\"><strong>Power Pivot<\/strong>: an in-memory data modeling component that allows for highly compressed data storage and very high-speed calculations or aggregation. It is available in Excel and can be used to create a data model. Power Pivot can load data itself or receive data through Power Query. It is very similar to the SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) tabular model, a kind of server-side version of Power Pivot.<br \/>\n<strong>Power View<\/strong>: an interactive visualization tool. Provides a drag-and-drop interface for quickly and easily building data visualizations in Excel documents (using the Power Pivot data model).<br \/>\n<strong>Power BI: <\/strong>a set of cloud tools that allow them <strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6632 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kodingtech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/power-map-640x356-300x167.png\" alt=\"Power Map drag and drop interface Koding recommendation\" width=\"300\" height=\"167\" \/><\/strong>users to manage their own needs <em>business intelligence<\/em>. It is based on Microsoft&#039;s Office 365 and SharePoint Online products, through Excel 2013. Includes Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power View. Power BI (with O365 and SharePoint Online) provides a site where users can upload and distribute content they create, manage access to data sources, and <em>enterprise<\/em>, I can implement refresh on data.<br \/>\nPower BI has a very James-Bond\/sci-fi\/high tech feature: natural language querying of data models, like: \u201elightsaber sales in Quantas system Jedi customers Q1\u201d \u2013 and boom, the graph appears on the screen. Great for presentations to bosses or shareholders.
